Greenland Kayak

What do you do if you don’t have a kayak? – Build one. When’s the best time to test a Greenland kayak for the first time? – In winter, when it’s freezing!

I built the frame using simple wood and willow rods.

The individual ribs and stringers are lashed together with waxed twine.

Aside from the length and width (5m x 60cm), everything was done by eye.
