"I wanted to create a device that invites people to engage with their environment, encourages and inspires artistic creation."

Idea 1: Drawing Aid

Inspired by the camera obscura, I wanted to find a way to transfer a subject onto paper using a glass pane.

To do this, I traced a windmill through a piece of glass.

The sketch on the glass pane could be transferred onto paper by incoming light.

Alternatively, it could serve as a negative to develop an image using UV-reactive paint, which I then tried out.

While tracing, I noticed how difficult it is to hold the glass properly and maintain the same viewing angle.

That's why I decided to pursue other ideas.
