Fascinated by American culture and the pure design of cowboy boots, I set out to make my own.

I spent countless hours sawing, carving, rasping, and filing.

The shape was guided by the outlines, impressions, and measurements of my feet.

But how much extra space was needed to get in and out of the boots?

From the finished lasts, I created the pattern.
